A Brief Bio: Kristen has always been a creative being. Many of her early memories are of colors, painting and mixing watercolors to see how each color would affect another. Much of this resulted in a colorful mess, but it was the beginning of her love of color, as well as science. After pursuing degrees in biology, Kristen knew she as an artist at heart, and began exploring the medium of kiln-formed or fused glass. Requiring careful control and precision, as well as imagination, kiln-formed glass is the perfect blend for her. Much of her work is inspired by mid-century modern design, with both clean lines and bold color and pattern.
