Franchisee Profile
MEET:
Viviana Campbell
BEEHIVE LOCATION: Atlanta
YEARS IN BUSINESS: 1
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?: I was born in Syracuse, a southern
Italian city in the island of Sicily. At the tender age of two, my family began
its journey around the world to support my dad’s career as a chemical engineer.
The Netherlands, Kuwait, South Korea, Germany and finally back to my home
land – Italy. So, my first memories of my birth country began at the age of 10…
when our family settled in a small town on the outskirts of Milan. Throughout high-school
Milan was an inspiration: my goal had always been to find an active role in
Milan’s fashion and design close circle. Something better happened to me: I
moved to Atlanta, met my husband Jim, started a family and after over ten years
of working in corporate marketing I became the proud owner of Beehive Co-op
Atlanta. How liberating! Now I consider myself an active member of Atlanta’s
design and fashion community. One day, maybe, I’ll open a Beehive in Milan!
WHAT'S YOUR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND? Loads of waitressing jobs supporting my studies, a couple
of years in customer service at Delta Air Lines, finally in 1999 a door opens
that introduces me to the world of marketing product and communication
first at Delta, then for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s
efforts to build an economically strong city was a true inspiration – how was I
to make a small contribution in Atlanta’s resurrecting efforts?! I know – help
the city become a catalyst for fashion and design: the fashion capital of the
South.
WHY A BEEHIVE? The Beehive Co-op model and overall goal lines-up
perfectly with my vision to build a strong community of local designers and
artists. Give our local talent a reason for staying by providing a supportive and
invigorating environment. A hub where artists, designers, stylists build
their brands, and find an audience to bring them recognition and success.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE STORE? For the featured designers to find a supportive network
