We are always looking for new boutique vendors at all levels of experience. Designers rent dedicated space and are encouraged to see their space as a mini "boutique" merchandising, promoting, and stocking it accordingly. Consignment and wholesale opportunities are available but on a very limited basis.
There are a wide variety of boutique sizes available with the majority being 12.5 sq. ft on up to 50sq. ft. Prices range from $50 to $260 depending upon size and commission rates. Minimum sub-leases are 6 months.
Rent is due at the first of the month and vendors are paid monthly with detailed statements. Once a vendor has achieved gross sales that equal monthly rent a modest commission is due to the store on each subsequent sale within that month.
Rent includes: space, fixtures, marketing, book-keeping, credit card acceptance, liability & casualty insurance, alarm, utilities, processing of sales tax. Additionally, vendors contribute an average of 5 hours every two weeks of work at the store, however this option can be negotiated.
