The creativity and energy in this jewelry line by designer Minna Hong was born out of an auto accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. It began by making pearl necklaces for friends and family in order to stave off depression and has grown into a successful business. Olaria Studio
During & after college, Amy McClure spent a good deal of time in Brazil, and being an artist her whole life, she finally found freedom and confidence to be who she was and do what she loves. She started feeling the need to create like never before. When the time came to start her own clay jewelry line, she instinctively chose the Portuguese name~Olaria, which means "pottery." Amy's jewelry pieces come from a variety of drawing techniques, graphic design processes, high-fire porcelain and stoneware clay (and glazes) that provide durability without weight as well as a wide range of variation in color and texture. Each one of Olaria's pieces is very unique and will usually tell you something about the person who chooses to wear it. It's a beautiful thing.

Tania Julian first started making angel pieces while pregnant with her son. Her love of porcelain grew and she remained enamored with the smooth surface, pureness, and duality of shiny and matte. Our wares convey the everyday HOPS, SKIPS and JUMPS, as well as a few outlandish cartwheels that occupy a child's day! Commissioning artists from across the country, Lark and Loon has created WEARABLE ART for the little curator in all of us. Our clothes are always exceptionally soft, pure cotton and made in the USA. Art helps art. Lark and Loon contributes to the Americans for the Arts Foundation (www.americansforthehearts.org), which helps to foster the art community nationwide.
