Our Story 

"the beehive" is a unique retail concept started in Atlanta, Georgia in 2004.  Originally called the "Beehive Co-op," the store was acquired by four existing entrepreneurial Atlanta designers who sought to take the the co-op and its image to greater heights.

Having grown their own retail entrepreneurial endeavors in jewelry design, children’s products, organic teas, and home baked cupcakes successfully, these businesswomen, Malene Davis, Brandi Barnes, Preeti Ayyangar and Kanani Whack, forged together to keep top quality handmade culture and mentality alive and well in their city.

With a 2600 square foot store located in the bustling Edgewood Retail District, the beehive proudly boasts the area’s best local and regional handmade designers.
