I am spending my Summer gathering plants, vegetables and flowers from Scharko Farms, a 7 acre organic farm in Fairburn, Georgia. The owners have kindly invited me to help myself to their Summer Bounty. These note cards are some of the first results. They are made from Onion Tops from the farm. See the photo. The 4.5 x 4.5 note cards are a rich lustrous color with a very smooth texture from being burnished with a smooth stone. They are each sewn with a two page lining of the best stationery quality paper bound with a Bamboo Twig also from the Farm. The Envelopes are square recycled brown kraft that compliment the texture of the handmade paper. The set of five is attractively bound as pictured and is neatly packaged with the envelopes in a cellophane wrapper.
