Description:What’s cooler than cutting up pretty fabric and putting it back together to make something new? Kids love to create, and sewing is a great take-along skill for them to learn. This four session class is way better than an after school program. Kids will start by learning the basics of sewing by hand, then move on to simple machine projects using paper and fabric. They’ll practice cutting according to a pattern, stitching seams, and embellishing with thread and notions. By the end, your little tailor will be making creations that astound you both. Along the way, they’ll fill a notebook with samplers and ideas to use over and over. Great for boys and girls, plants the seed for a long-term love of craft and creativity! This is a four class series that begins each month, but the content varies and students are instructed according to skill and interest, so the class is designed to be taken over and over again!Meets Saturdays January 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 10-11.15 am.Questions?
