Sewing with Patterns March

Description:

Basic machine sewing skills and understanding of how your machine works are required for this class if you have not taken an Intro Sewing class. This class picks up where Introduction to Sewing leaves off.  We cover commercial patterns and the skills you’ll need to use them, including selecting a pattern, what size pattern suits your body, pattern symbols, cutting skills, and the secrets of following pattern instructions. You’ll choose one pattern to complete over the four class sessions, and finish the class with a garment to wear!  Can be taken multiple times, as we vary the pattern month-to-month, and is a GREAT activity to share with your girlfriends--why not a weekly Ladies' Night this month, with your sewing machines?  Meets Wednesdays in March from 7-9.30 p.m. This is a series of four classes.
